What is in the sky?
“Großer Donner”, “ein Donner-Blitz”. It finally rained today, because it had not rained in a while. The sky rumbled and the children wondered what was going on. Then the rain came and a bucket was put outside to collect water. The rain filled it and so a second bucket was put out. That was also filled rapidly so a third bucket was put out and the rain kept falling and falling and filled that too. This observation of the rain will be of great value when we soon come to learn about the water cycle.
