Registration
Application process
All applications for kindergarten places must be arranged through the Kita-Portal which is controlled by the town of Jena.
For an application for a place in kindergarten in BiLLY we require that a registration form (download) is completed and sent as an attachment by Email to us (billy@querwege.de).
We strongly advise that you attend the information day (dates on our website) that our kindergarten provides for prospective parents.
Places are generally available in summer when the older children make the transition to school.
When circumstances allow, it is possible that a child may start at another time of the year.
The contract between the child’s guardian and Querwege e.V will be signed and a letter welcoming you to BiLLY will be delivered.
Parents whose children will attend the kindergarten will be invited to visit with their children one afternoon to get to know the other families and play in the new surroundings here at the kindergarten.
The first meeting with teaching staff will be arranged for about 2 weeks before your child starts their attendance.
