We say goodbye to our pre-schoolers
At the 26th of June we were saying goodbye to our pre-schoolers. The day begun for those children with a trip to the Jena Imaginata, where they spent all day experimenting and being fascinated by many different Things that combines science and adventure. While the pre-school children have been away, we who were still in the kindergarten got plenty of things to do: We were decorating the garden and crafting little Zuckertüten to decorate the tables and we prepared a special afternoon snack, so we could welcome our friends back to celebrate them. In the afternoon the older children and Karin did a little program for the rest of us and the parents, which showed a play of the story of the very hungry caterpillar. After that the pre-schoolers finally could harvest the Zuckertüten from the Zuckertütenbaum, which they have been watered patiently for weeks. They have been really proud of the results of their ambitions. In the evening the parents organized a barbecue to give the day a chatty and cosy ending. This was a nice and exciting day for all of us!
